I had the honor of presenting some initial branding concepts as part of Concept One to Michael Lang, the original organizer of the 1969 festival. As an avid fan of classic rock and having grown up dreaming of what the monumental weekend must have been like in 1969, this was truly a dream project to work on. The charge was to evolve the iconic dove on guitar and make it resonate with this generation. Here is the lead concept with a proposed branded typeface for the event.
